Who on the Gold Coast hasn't sung the praises of air conditioning on a sweltering summer day?

But who do you have to thank for this refreshing convenience? That with just one click on the remote, the room you are in is automatically cooled down.

The short answer to that question is Willis Carrier. He is an American engineer credited with inventing the first modern air conditioner. It is really invented not for comfort, but because he needed a way to control the humidity in a New York publishing house. He designed it to keep his paper from expanding and contracting and so that his ink would dry faster and without smudges. Actually, it was just invented accidentally or by mistake perhaps.

However, this solved the biggest problem of all time

The intense heat especially during summer seasons on any part of the Globe. His "mistake" is allowing us now to cool homes, businesses, hospitals, data centres, laboratories and other buildings vital to our economy and daily lives.

And thanks to Carrier for launching an industry that would fundamentally improve the way we live, work and play. He literally changed the world. He also gave life to all air conditioning business around the globe like Climate Control.

The Gold Coast is a sensational place to live. That’s the standard answer you will get from a local when you ask them why they live here. Push them a bit further and you will get a lot of sensational reasons why, but one major reason is of course the weather. And do you blame them? The Gold Coast has a sub-tropical climate with plenty of sunshine year-round (in fact an average of 300 days a year). Summer temperatures range from 19 to 29 degrees Celsius (66 to 83 degrees Fahrenheit). Winter temperatures range from an average of 9 to 21 degrees Celsius (48 to 69 degrees Fahrenheit) - it's no wonder the Gold Coast is Australia's favorite playground.

If you live anywhere on the Gold Coast, and having such great weather no doubt you appreciate a fully functioning air conditioning system. Nothing worse though especially on the hottest days when our Air Conditioner System breaks down. Repairs are rarely convenient, but if you have a reliable provider, these services make a noticeable difference.

Climate Control offers a full range of Split and Ducted air conditioning repair services to the Gold Coast, including anything from routine maintenance contracts to installation and repairs. We offer repair services on all leading brands and warrant our services.

A question you might have is are we reliable?
