February is the last official Summer month with warm weather and less crowds than December and January. It's a great month to sneak outside of school holidays and enjoy all that the Gold Coast has to offer. And the beach is central to life and holidays. You can see Aussie icons battling it out in surf carnivals and surfing competitions. This makes February one of the best times to visit the Gold Coast for a holiday. You’ll have fewer problems with crowds, yet most summer activities are still available. You can enjoy a late summer holiday without worrying about kids overtaking the Gold Coast.

Although it is not as hot as the past months,  At the end of the day, you will definitely feel spent and exhausted with all the outdoor heat your body has absorbed. 

And what is more perfect than to lay on your bed and sleep? 

But the fact that February is still part of the summer season, expect that a crappy sleep is what you're going to have have even before the sun rises.
